Our response to covid-19

Bombs Away! is focused on service and communication and we want to clarify how we provide our services and what we are doing to prevent the spread of the virus to be able to safely serve you, your family as well as our team members.

We wear facial coverings. Our technicians are required to wear a face mask when entering all residential yards or properties, or when in close proximity (within 6 feet) of co-workers or the general public while on duty.

We work independently. Our technicians rarely, if ever, have a need to come into contact with anyone throughout their workday (that includes our clients). They spend their time inside their vehicle, driving from property to property, or alone on those properties while performing their work.

Sanitization is a constant. Our technicians are trained and rigorously practice sanitization methods using cleaners such as kennel disinfectants to disinfect their tools and shoes in between properties. The coronavirus is like many other viruses, and sanitization products are effective in stopping the spread.

We help prevent the spread of other diseases. There are many human diseases that can be carried by dog waste including E. coli, salmonellosis, and parasites like roundworms and tapeworms. Considering many of our clients are incapable of scooping their dog’s poop (elderly, disabled, injured), they count on us to keep their properties safe, clean, and sanitary.

We help prevent negative environmental impacts. The EPA has classified pet waste as a “non-point source of pollution,” and water runoff that contains pet waste is a major contributor to e-coli in our waterway. Bombs Away! removes pet waste from residential yards, common areas of apartment communities, and regional open space preserves. Left on the ground, pet waste negatively impacts the health of our community.

We recognize that California and the entire country is going through a challenging time, due to the spread of COVID-19. Our management and technicians are aware of the public health concerns, and we are taking care to do our part in keeping our state clean and healthy.
